Restaurant Group Controller Benefits & Compensation

Restaurant Group Controller Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Restaurant industry controller experience required
- 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership
- Strong GAAP and multi-unit financial reporting background
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Proven success in leading and developing accounting teams
Restaurant Group Controller Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the accounting department, including hiring and training staff
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close on an accrual basis (GAAP)
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and analyze business performance
- Manage cash flow forecasting and weekly reporting functions
- Maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Supervise third-party vendors and financial partners
- Oversee sales tax, property tax, workers’ compensation, and external audits
