A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and enforce safety programs across a high-volume plant. This role is focused on maintaining compliance, driving safety awareness, and supporting a strong safety culture on the production floor.
Responsibilities:
- Support OSHA compliance, audits, and safety programs
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Maintain safety documentation and reporting (OSHA logs, training records, etc.)
- Deliver safety training (PPE, LOTO, forklift, emergency response)
- Partner with operations to identify hazards and drive improvements
- Track safety metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of safety experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Forklift certification required
- Experience with safety training and incident investigations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred: Experience in automotive or aerospace environments
