Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, including staff leadership, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Hire, train, and manage staff to maintain high performance and morale
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and promptly resolve customer concerns
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience (General Manager experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, financial management, and customer service best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
