Requirements & Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Background in elder abuse, personal injury, or medical negligence strongly preferred
- Strong calendaring and deadline management experience
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and court e-filing systems
- Professional, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Must-Haves (Day-to-Day Impact)
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation from intake through trial
- Draft and review pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and demand packages
- Prepare trial materials including exhibits, binders, and mediation documents
- Communicate with clients to gather updates and critical case information
- Summarize medical records, depositions, and discovery responses
- Coordinate with experts, medical providers, and third-party vendors
- Assist with trial preparation including witness coordination and exhibit management
Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience working on complex, high-volume litigation cases
- Familiarity with medical records and healthcare-related documentation
- Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment
