We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage and service a diverse book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring exceptional client experience, strong retention, and seamless policy lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a book of commercial accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day servicing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing coverage questions, policy changes, and claims support
- Conduct coverage reviews and identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling
- Prepare and manage renewal timelines to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Market accounts to carriers and obtain competitive quotes when needed
- Review proposals and present coverage options to clients in a clear, consultative manner
- Work closely with underwriters and carrier partners to negotiate terms and resolve issues
- Stay current on carrier appetite, market conditions, and product offerings
- Maintain accurate client records within the agency management system
- Process endorsements, certificates, audits, and policy documentation
- Ensure compliance with agency procedures and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance
- Active Property & Casualty license
- Strong understanding of commercial coverages
- Experience with Applied Epic
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
