Catering & Events Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in hospitality, catering, or event management
- Proven success working with high-net-worth clients or VIP event execution
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days per week and be present during event set-up and execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Ability to build and implement new catering systems and workflows
Catering & Events Coordinator Preferred Background & Skills
- Familiarity with Toast POS and Perfect Venue backend
- Passion for serving the local community, including experience with non-profit or benefit events
- Sales-minded with a focus on revenue growth and guest experience
- Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to personalized hospitality
Catering & Events Coordinator Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop, launch, and refine the catering program, including templates, systems, and add-on offerings
- Build relationships with VIP clientele and local community members to drive event and catering sales
- Network proactively, conduct tours, and follow up on all inquiries to convert leads into bookings
- Guide clients through event planning, logistics, and coordination, providing hands-on support throughout each event
- Oversee the execution of private, commissioned, and in-house events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences
- Collaborate with leadership teams to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and revenue growth
