We are looking for an experienced and professional French Saucier to add to our team. Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and have experience with complex sauce preparations in a fine dining restaurant. Hours are 6am-2pm; must be consistent, reliable, and punctual. Pay is around $25/hour.
Saucier Qualifications:
- 2+ years as a lead prep or saucier in a fine dining restaurant
- Positive attitude, hard-working
- Experience with all scratch, French preparations
- Culinary degree preferred
Saucier Responsibilities:
- Prepare stocks and sauces from scratch according to recipe, directions, and judgment
- Manage the prep list and other preparations
- Communicate effectively with rest of the prep team
- Receive deliveries as necessary
- Set up the hotline for service
