Production Manager
Seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily operations on the manufacturing floor, focused on electrical control panels and modular system builds. This role ensures production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met while developing a high‑performing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily panel assembly operations and ensure on‑time, accurate, safe production
- Assign and prioritize work based on schedules and team capabilities
- Monitor workflow and adjust resources to maintain throughput
- Enforce UL 508A, UL 67, UL 891, NEC, and internal quality standards
- Perform in‑process and final quality checks (wiring, labeling, grounding, components)
- Troubleshoot wiring, layout, and component issues on the floor
- Partner with engineering to resolve design discrepancies
- Train and develop panel builders; reinforce quality and safety expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, 5S‑compliant production environment
- Communicate production status, risks, and constraints to leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma; technical/trade training preferred
- 5+ years in industrial control panel manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of UL 508A, UL 67, UL 891
- Ability to read electrical schematics, layouts, and BOMs
- Experience leading or mentoring production staff
- Hands‑on electrical assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
