Regional Sales Representative

Regional Sales Representative Benefits & Compensation

Regional Sales Representative Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of outside sales experience in industrial B2B environments
- Proven track record selling into pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical processing, utilities, or food & beverage manufacturing
- Experience with flow control (valves, fittings), sanitary process equipment, or fluid handling systems
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to explain engineered solutions
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage a territory and sales pipeline
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel within assigned region
Regional Sales Representative Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience working with industrial distributors or OEMs
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics
Regional Sales Representative Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an assigned regional territory with a focus on revenue expansion
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring account retention and growth
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industrial sectors
- Conduct on-site customer visits, plant tours, and technical consultations
- Present and recommend solutions tailored to customer needs, including valves, fittings, sanitary process equipment, and fluid handling systems
- Partner with inside sales and account management teams for quoting, order execution, and customer support
- Track sales activity, pipeline, and opportunities using CRM tools
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and close business deals to achieve company goals
