Project Manager – Concrete Construction Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in commercial concrete construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong knowledge of concrete practices, formwork systems, means, and methods
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex construction challenges
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed
Project Manager – Concrete Construction Preferred Background & Skills
- OSHA Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with AutoCAD or Tekla
Project Manager – Concrete Construction Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Create and update project budgets, schedules, and critical path plans
- Review project labor costs with Superintendents to ensure budget compliance
- Oversee productivity, cost control, quality, and safety standards
- Coordinate operations related to formwork, logistics, schedules, and materials
- Communicate regularly with clients to align on plans, schedules, and expectations
- Prepare and process change orders, proposals, RFPs, and project documentation
- Track project progress and performance, reporting insights to executive leadership
- Attend client and internal meetings, assisting in project requirement planning
- Ensure completion of all required closeout documents and maintain contract records
