Executive Chef Requirements and Qualifications
- 5+ years of culinary leadership experience, including Executive Chef or comparable role
- Demonstrated success overseeing high-volume kitchen operations with multiple service periods
- Strong command of cost controls including labor, food cost, purchasing, and inventory management
- Comprehensive understanding of food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
- Ability to lead with authority while remaining actively engaged in daily operations
Executive Chef Preferred Background and Skills
- Experience in seafood-focused or coastal dining environments
- Background in establishing kitchen structure, systems, and operational workflows
- Track record of improving financial performance and operational efficiency
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with operations leadership to support overall business goals
