A globally recognized leader in freight forwarding and supply chain solutions is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead growth initiatives in the West Coast. In this role, you will act as the key intermediary between shippers and transportation companies, driving new account growth through prospecting, sourcing, and continuous expansion of your book of business. You will develop and implement regional sales strategies, manage key customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, operations, and customer service teams. Additionally, you will recruit, lead, and mentor a team of sales professionals while monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer performance to guide strategic planning and mitigate client loss. Leveraging your industry expertise, you will solve complex problems under pressure and recommend tailored solutions based on customer needs.
Sales Manager job requirements
- 5+ years of freight forwarding and E-commerce experience required; current book of business strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to grow leads, develop sales pipelines, and manage carrier relationships through strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills; capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Bilingual (English/Mandarin) preferred.
Sales Manager salary and benefits
- Highly incentivized compensation structure: $80,000 base salary plus quarterly performance bonuses based on individual and team results.
