We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join a high-end culinary team in a luxury hotel dining environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on, passionate culinary professional who supports the Chef de Cuisine in kitchen operations, ensures quality and consistency, and helps lead a talented team of cooks and culinary staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in all daily kitchen operations
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, including line cooks and prep cooks
- Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
- Assist with menu execution, recipe adherence, and seasonal menu updates
- Manage inventory, prep schedules, and kitchen organization
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with FOH leadership to deliver seamless guest dining experiences
Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years of experience in upscale or fine dining kitchens
- Strong hands-on culinary skills and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of modern cooking techniques, plating, and presentation
- Experience in high-volume, high-standard environments preferred
- Ability to lead a team and work under pressure
- Knowledge of kitchen management, inventory, and sanitation standards
