General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma required; BA/BS degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of upscale fast casual/QSR GM experience
- Effective spoken and written English communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for long periods
- Willingness to work variable hours based on business needs
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Previous experience developing and training teams
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Experience with hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record preferred
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to ensure operational excellence and outstanding guest service
- Oversee restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
- Manage scheduling, labor, and inventory to achieve financial goals and control costs
