We are currently looking for a Director of Human Resources to join our team as we continue to grow and expand!
Director of Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Strategic People Leadership: Develop and execute a multi-year "People strategy" and serve as a high-level advisor to the executive team on workforce planning, organizational design, and cultural stewardship.
- Servant Leadership & Cultural Advocacy: Act as a champion for the company’s "people-first" mission, fostering a workplace rooted in servant leadership, community impact, and the "delivery of WOW" across all levels.
- Multi-State Compliance & Risk: Provide executive oversight for labor law compliance and risk mitigation across California, Nevada, and Arizona, ensuring policies reflect both best-in-class standards and core company values.
- Talent & Leadership Development: Architect scalable leadership frameworks and succession plans to build a "bench" of future leaders, while overseeing talent acquisition for corporate and senior field roles.
- Total Rewards & Benefits Strategy: Lead the company's compensation philosophy and incentive structures, partnering with Finance to ensure competitive and equitable rewards aligned with growth goals.
- Operational Excellence & Training: Lead and develop the HR and Training departments to ensure scalable systems and a high-quality team member experience during regional expansion.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage AI-enabled tools and HRIS (Paylocity) to establish People dashboards, translating workforce analytics into actionable insights for the executive team.
Director of Human Resources Requirements:
- Extensive Leadership Experience: At least 8-10+ years of progressive HR leadership, specifically within multi-unit or multi-state organizations (hospitality, retail, or F&B industries highly preferred).
- Regulatory & Strategic Expertise: Deep knowledge of California labor law (AZ/NV experience is a plus) and a proven track record of scaling HR infrastructure and workforce planning in high-growth environments.
- Advanced Education & Certification: A Bachelor’s degree is required (Master’s preferred), ideally paired with a senior-level HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
- Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Strong ability to leverage HRIS data (specifically Paylocity) and AI-enabled tools to drive executive-level insights and organizational strategy.
