Our client is looking for strong a Project Manager with a strong field ironworker background to support structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects. This role requires hands-on construction experience combined with technical coordination and project documentation skills.
Project Manager Salary and Benefits:
- Base salary of $125 – 160k – can be higher based on experience
- Annual bonus

Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee structural steel construction and other miscellaneous metal projects
- Coordinate between field crews, detailing, and project management
- Review shop drawings and contract documents for constructability
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and field documentation
- Track material deliveries and installation progress
- Maintain project records using Procore and Bluebeam
- Assist with schedules, quantities, and production tracking
- Support foremen and superintendents with layout and field needs
Project Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a Field Ironworker (structural steel / misc metals strongly preferred)
- Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on experience as an ironworker
- Comfortable working on iPad and construction technology platforms
- Ability to read and interpret Design drawings, Shop drawings and Project specifications
- Solid understanding of Steel erection sequencing, Field coordination and RFIs, submittals, and as-built documentation
- Strong communication skills between field crews, GC, and project management
