A regionally accredited university is seeking a Clinical Lab Instructor to support its Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program.
This full-time role focuses on guiding nursing students through skills labs and simulation-based learning while supporting clinical readiness and academic success. The instructor will work closely with faculty, clinical partners, and program leadership to ensure high-quality instruction and student engagement in a collaborative learning environment.
Clinical Lab Instructor – Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate student learning in skills labs, simulation environments, and online learning platforms
- Provide guidance and mentorship related to clinical practice, professionalism, and nursing competencies
- Support implementation of the nursing curriculum and academic program objectives
- Collaborate with faculty and healthcare partners to ensure effective clinical preparation
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing curriculum, policies, and clinical best practices
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to support academic progress
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing required
- Active, unencumbered RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of professional nursing practice experience
- Teaching experience in nursing education preferred
- Experience with simulation labs or clinical instruction preferred
- Comfort using learning management systems and instructional technology
