Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing Services in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong working knowledge of long-term care regulations and compliance standards
- Experience supporting restorative and rehabilitative nursing programs
Must Haves:
- Partner closely with the Director of Nursing to implement and refine nursing policies and clinical practices
- Participate in resident assessments, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Align staffing resources with resident acuity and operational needs
- Lead staff education, coaching, and performance oversight
- Support survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance initiatives
- Contribute to discharge planning and performance improvement efforts
Preferred Background & Skills:
- Experience in high-quality skilled nursing or post-acute settings
- Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, team-focused approach
- Ability to balance clinical excellence with compassionate resident-centered care
- Experience working collaboratively with physicians, families, and advocacy groups
