We are seeking a Title Insurance Attorney with 5 – 7 years of real estate experience to join our growing title insurance firm. If you have experience in commercial real estate law, title insurance, or real estate transactions at a law firm, title company, lender, or insurer, we would love to speak with you.

Qualifications for the Title Insurance Attorney:
- 5-7 years in real estate law and/or title insurance underwriting and/or real estate transactions at a law firm.
- Active bar license
- JD from an accredited school
- Strong understanding of commercial and residential real estate transactions
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
Responsibilities for the Title Insurance Attorney:
- Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, exceptions, and endorsements for commercial real estate transactions.
- Identify, evaluate, and resolve complex title issues, including easements, encroachments, restrictive covenants, lien priority, access issues, and zoning matters.
- Approve coverage, exceptions, and endorsements in compliance with underwriting guidelines and Pennsylvania law.
- Provide underwriting guidance for high-value and high-complexity commercial transactions.
- Advise internal escrow, sales, and operations teams on title-related legal issues.
- Work directly with commercial real estate attorneys, lenders, developers, investors, and brokers to facilitate smooth closings.
- Draft and review legal instruments including indemnities, affidavits, curative documents, and special endorsements.
- Assist with due diligence review and transactional structuring from a title risk perspective.
- Serve as a legal point of contact for clients on title insurance coverage and risk matters.
- Participate in client meetings, calls, and closings as needed.
- Support business development efforts by providing legal insight on complex deals.
- Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania and New Jersey insurance regulations and underwriting standards.
- Stay current on changes in commercial real estate law, title insurance practices, and underwriting trends.
- Assist with internal training and mentorship of title officers and escrow teams.
