Dining Room Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years in Forbes 5-star property or equivalent in the luxury dining segment of the industry
- Proven leadership skills and commitment to excellence
- Track record of guest complaint resolution
- Level 1 certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers
- Proven financial and business acumen; analytical skills, and ability to meet and exceed set budgets
- Unparalleled passion for hospitality, food, and wine
- Ability to respectfully mentor, train, develop, and hold teams accountable to expectations
- Ability to exemplify choreographed dining service with finesse
- Experience with Resort Suite and Tock operating systems
Dining Room Manager Responsibilities
- Oversight and management of all aspects of the main dining room
- Create and review weekly FOH team schedules
- Oversee the management of reservation confirmations
- Collaborate with leadership to address social media comments related to service issues
- Manage pre-shift messaging and oversee EOD notes as related to daily operations
- Practice a consistent survey of the facility to ensure the staff and guests have everything they need to have a positive experience
