General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 3–5+ years as a General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Proven ownership of P&L performance, including COGS, labor, and controllables
- Experience managing complex operations with entertainment, bar, and late-night service
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
General Manager Must Haves
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to command a loud, high-energy room
- Direct oversight of inventory systems, vendor relationships, and cost controls
- Daily management of labor deployment, scheduling, and floor execution
- Strong presence during peak service, events, and live-music programming
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Background in nightlife-driven, entertainment-forward, or experiential dining concepts
- Strong bar and beverage knowledge with cocktail-heavy volume experience
- Track record of developing managers and building accountable leadership teams
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to balance culture, performance, and discipline
