Spanish-speaking Intake Coordinator

A plaintiff-side employment law firm located in El Segundo, is looking for a full-time legal Intake Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients. The Intake Coordinator will ensure the efficient and effective administration of the intake department, evaluating potential client leads, and providing essential support to the attorneys.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·        Execute all aspects of intake logistics including scheduling appointments, calendaring, preparing all documents and carrying out necessary steps as outlined by lead attorneys

·        Conduct comprehensive preliminary screening of incoming leads

·        Assess viability of leads based on established standards and guidelines

·        Prepare summarized findings and recommendations for attorneys

·        Perform comprehensive review and data analysis of wage and hour documentation as needed

·        Meet regularly with attorneys and participate in intake calls with potential clients

·        Conduct follow-up with prospective clients as required within established timeline

·        Relay accurate and thorough information to clients regarding the intake and class action litigation process

·        Maintain neat, comprehensive and accurate notes in lead intake software system

·        Serve as Spanish interpreter as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

·        Must be fluent in Spanish

·        Must be reliable, highly organized, self-motivated and detail oriented

·        Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to distill information and communicate it effectively to clients and attorneys

·        Must possess strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to put prospective clients at ease

·        Must have exceptional organizational skills to manage intake pipeline from beginning to end, for both external referrals and in-house intake leads

·        Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and exhibit high degree of resourcefulness and sound judgment

·        Must have a positive attitude and commit to a high standard of ethical and professional conduct

·        Ability to work well independently and effectively as a member of a team

·        Ability to analyze data, consolidate information and make clear and compelling data-driven recommendations

·        Expected to exercise initiative, independent judgment and skill while carrying out recurring duties and developing and strengthening systems

·        Strong ability to communicate verbally and write effectively in English and in Spanish. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Word and Outlook)
