A well-established, high-volume restaurant group is hiring a Director of Construction to lead the execution of ground-up builds and major remodels across its growing portfolio.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in the details. If your recent experience is centered on managing large teams, overseeing portfolios, or delegating execution, this will not be the right fit. This role is built for a construction leader who still reads plans, understands MEP systems, and takes personal ownership of the work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own restaurant construction projects from post–site selection through opening
- Personally review architectural and MEP plans and catch issues before they become field problems
- Lead ground-up restaurant builds and major remodels in the $10M+ range
- Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, kitchen designers, contractors, and internal teams
- Navigate permitting and inspections with local jurisdictions
- Be present in the field, solve problems, and ensure execution quality in a lean team environment

Compensation
- Base salary: $160,000–$180,000, depending on experience
