Advertising Sales Executive Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience in print, radio, TV or digital media advertising sales is a MUST
- Proven ability to sell to small and medium-sized businesses
- Strong tenure
- Hunter, go-getter who is comfortable making cold calls
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable being coached and applying feedback to grow professionally
- Ability to quickly build rapport and communicate the value of marketing solutions
Must-haves:
- Manage and grow a defined book of business within a local sales territory
- Sell multimedia advertising solutions (print + digital) tailored to client needs
- Leverage a robust digital sales platform and CRM system
- Build long-term relationships with clients and deliver consistent value
- Identify and act on new revenue opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Candidates must be familiar with the local market and able to commute to the Denver office as needed. This is a hybrid role with significant time spent selling in the territory, it is not remote.
