This role is for a hands-on, early-rising Area Director who knows how to win in high-volume, drive-thru operations. The Area Director owns execution across people, profit, and performance, spending the majority of time in restaurants coaching leaders and driving results. This is a field-first role for someone who leads from the front and holds high standards without ego.

Area Director Responsibilities:
- Leads and coaches 5 – 6 General Managers, setting clear expectations around execution, accountability, and people development.
- Drives operational excellence in speed, accuracy, food quality, and service – particularly in drive-thru performance.
- Owns full financial performance of the area, including labor, food cost, controllables, and strategic planning.
- Builds and evaluates talent by hiring strong leaders, developing bench strength, and actively coaching underperforming managers.
- Ensures compliance with company standards, HR policies, and all regulatory requirements while maintaining a positive, respectful work environment.
Area Director Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years as an Area Director, or equivalent multi-unit role, managing 5+ General Managers and restaurants.
- Demonstrated mastery of cost controls and performance management in $2MM+ quick-service restaurants.
- Strong people leader with a proven ability to evaluate talent, coach effectively, and build resilient teams.
- Clear, confident communicator with the ability to plan, coordinate, and implement change.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable with early mornings, frequent travel, and field-based leadership.
