A well-established and growing hospitality company is conducting a search for an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, multi-revenue-stream venue. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at balancing operational excellence, guest experience, team development, and financial performance in a dynamic environment.
Role Overview
The General Manager is fully accountable for the overall success of the venue, including financial results, team performance, guest satisfaction, and operational execution. This leader will oversee multiple departments and revenue channels, ensuring consistency, safety, service excellence, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across food & beverage, guest services, events, and recreation/activities
- Own full P&L responsibility, including sales growth, labor optimization, cost control, and inventory management
- Recruit, train, coach, and retain a strong leadership team and hourly staff
- Establish and maintain high standards for guest experience, safety, cleanliness, and service
- Drive local business development through events, group sales, and community engagement
- Partner with senior leadership to execute operational initiatives and long-term growth strategies
- Use data and reporting to make informed decisions and continuously improve performance
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of General Manager or senior operational leadership experience
- Background in high-volume hospitality, entertainment, or experiential venues strongly preferred
- Proven success managing complex operations with multiple revenue streams
- Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership
- Track record of building high-performing, culture-driven teams
- Calm, decisive leader who thrives in fast-paced, guest-focused environments
