Hotel General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of general manager experience in a small hotel, bed & breakfast, inn, or boutique property
- Well-rounded background in Sales, Banquets, F&B as well as Front Desk
- Must be highly hands-on and willing to pitch in wherever needed
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation required
- Willingness and desire to live and settle long-term in Wyoming
Hotel General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Track record of working collaboratively with small teams and a variety of vendors
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of property ownership
- Open to couples who wish to manage together
Hotel General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee and support a small team, including maintenance, restaurant, banquets, housekeeping, and front desk staff
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, service, and hospitality throughout the property
- Build our ever-growing special event and banquet business
- Act as the on-site host, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for every guest
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure ongoing property upkeep
