We are seeking a Professional Engineer to join our multidisciplinary firm, led by licensed professionals in civil engineering, land surveying, and landscape architecture. Professional Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide full technical and managerial ownership of site/civil projects from initial concept through final construction and closeout
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including project engineers, landscape architects, consultants, and subconsultants
- Serve as Engineer of Record and provide high-level technical oversight, quality control, and constructability reviews
- Perform and oversee site inspections, construction administration, and field coordination to ensure compliance with design intent, codes, and standards
- Prepare, review, and approve engineering reports, site plans, specifications, and complex design calculations
- Manage permitting efforts, represent projects before reviewing agencies, and act as the primary point of contact with regulatory authorities
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Mentor junior engineering staff and contribute to technical standards and best practices within the organization
Professional Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 7–15 years of progressive site/civil engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State
- Extensive experience with HydroCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proven ability to lead projects, interface with clients and agencies, and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
