Territory Sales Manager Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in B2B sales or business development.
- Strong prospecting skills and ability to meet/exceed activity and revenue goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking activity and managing pipelines.
- Ability to calculate rates, ratios, percentages, and margins accurately.
Territory Sales Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Execute daily prospecting activities (calls, emails, in-person visits, mailers) to secure appointments.
- Conduct building surveys and prepare detailed proposals for managed janitorial services.
- Manage all steps of the sales process, from survey through proposal delivery and follow-up.
- Prepare and present quarterly territory plans to sales leadership.
- Maintain detailed, accurate CRM records after every prospect interaction.
- Conduct weekly territory planning and participate in required meetings and training sessions.
