General Manager Responsibility
- Recruit, hire, and retain top talent to build a high-performing team
- Train, coach, and develop team members to consistently deliver brand standards
- Create a positive, motivating work environment people want to be part of
- Lead team meetings and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment laws
- Ensure every guest receives quality food, friendly service, and a clean restaurant
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally, turning issues into wins
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, food safety, and overall experience
General Manager Expectations
- Manage food cost, labor cost, scheduling, and payroll
- Forecast sales and adjust operations to meet business goals
- Analyze P&L statements and build action plans to improve performance
- Execute local marketing initiatives and catering efforts to grow sales
- Ensure all recipes, procedures, and brand standards are followed consistently
- Oversee equipment and facility maintenance to keep operations running smoothly
- Manage inventory, ordering, and administrative tasks accurately and on time
General Manager Skills & Experience
- Previous Fast Casual experience
- Strong people leadership with a passion for coaching and development
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage costs and drive profitability
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead by example
