General Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience managing both front and back of house operations in a casual dining or scratch-cooking concept
- Proven ability to manage the cost of goods and labor to achieve budget goals
- Strong hiring, training, and team development skills
- Solid understanding of P&L statements and achievement of operational KPIs
- Energetic, positive, and outgoing leadership style
General Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Background in scratch-cooking restaurant concepts
- Well-established relationships in the local community to drive catering and event sales
- Track record of building and retaining high-performing teams
General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations for both front and back of house
- Monitor and control costs to achieve budget targets
- Hire, train, and mentor team members, developing future leaders
- Engage actively on the floor to create a positive atmosphere for guests and staff
