Chef de Cuisine – FINE DINING OR UPSCALE RESTAURANT BACKGROUND ONLY
A leading food and beverage lifestyle group on the East Coast is seeking an Chef de Cuisine for upscale fine bistro restaurant. The group is built on a culture of honesty, integrity, and fairness, and is dedicated to providing superb cuisine and seamless service. This position reports directly to Michelin-trained Corporate Executive Chef, offering the opportunity to shape a culinary program that blends excellence with creativity.
Corporate Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities
- Lead multi-unit kitchen operations to ensure quality, consistency, and elevated guest experiences
- Provide hands-on leadership across food preparation, execution, and service standards
- Oversee purchasing, ordering, payroll, and monthly inventories to manage food costs
- Train, mentor, and inspire a team of culinary professionals
- Develop and refine menus that align with brand standards and guest expectations
Executive Chef de Cuisine Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive culinary experience in high-volume, fine dining or upscale restaurants
- Culinary degree required
- Strong leadership and communication skills; team-builder with a positive, motivating style
- Knowledge of HAACP and food safety standards; detail-oriented in execution
- Flexible schedule (AM/PM shifts); Spanish language skills a plus
Executive Chef de Cuisine Benefits
- Competitive salary: $100,000–$115,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities
