Senior Product Engineer – Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop conveyor systems and mechanical components using SolidWorks.
• Plan, delegate, and monitor work to meet timelines (e.g., material acquisition, outsourced drafting, MRP loading, production planning).
• Provide technical support, training, and data across departments to exceed customer expectations.
• Create innovative, efficient designs that balance structural integrity, customer needs, cost, and throughput goals.
• Prepare detailed engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, specifications).
• Manage full project lifecycle: scope, schedule, budget, and client communication.
• Support installation and commissioning with technical expertise.
• Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and customers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
Senior Product Engineer Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in mechanical design or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Minimum of three years of mechanical design/project management experience in the food and beverage industry.
- SolidWorks: required
- Requires SolidWorks proficiency and proven experience designing conveyors/material handling systems for the Food & Beverage industry.
