Our client, a reputable wealth management and financial planning firm with more than 20 years in the Buffalo Grove and Chicago area, is seeking an experienced Lead Financial Planner / Service Advisor. The firm offers comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, and investment management services.

Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Lead and support financial planning and review meetings
- Prepare comprehensive retirement income plans and financial projections
- Develop investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses
- Utilize tax planning software to identify tax strategies and planning opportunities
- Prepare annuity, life insurance, and long-term care illustrations
- Collaborate with Lead Advisors and planning team within a pod structure
- Manage follow-ups and maintain proactive client communication
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Financial Planner or Advisor
- Series 65 or 66 required
- CFP preferred (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
- Life Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
