An expanding engineering team is hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead mechanical design work across machines, fixtures, and custom components. Mechanical Design Engineer – What You Will Do
- Design and model mechanical systems, fixtures, and machine components using 3D parametric modeling
- Create accurate engineering drawings, bills of materials, and documentation for manufacturing
- Perform structural checks and basic FEA to validate design integrity
- Research, conceptualize, and present mechanical design solutions based on project requirements
- Select pneumatic and mechanical components and support procurement activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers while managing multiple design tasks
Mechanical Design Engineer – What You Bring
- 3 to 5 plus years of mechanical design, machine design, or fixture design experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of strength of materials and structural design
- Proficiency with SolidWorks (2010 or newer) and 3D parametric modeling
- Experience with pneumatic circuits and component selection
- High ownership mindset with humble, hungry, and smart work style
- Ability to communicate clearly, work independently or in teams, and manage multiple priorities
