Assistant General Manager – Upscale, Scratch Restaurant
Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: $64,000–$68,000 annually + performance bonus
Benefits: Healthcare coverage (50% subsidized for the individual), Paid Time Off (earned at one week every six months)

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our leadership team and help drive operational excellence, team development, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations and act as Manager-in-Charge when needed
- Ensure an outstanding guest experience by maintaining high service standards and resolving concerns promptly
- Lead, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive, high-performing team culture
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls to achieve financial targets
- Uphold food safety, sanitation, and compliance with labor and health regulations
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts to build brand loyalty
- Analyze sales reports and operational metrics to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
- Model the brand’s values and mission, ensuring consistency across all aspects of the guest experience
Qualifications
- 3+ years of leadership experience in upscale or high-volume full-service restaurants
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and retain teams
- Solid understanding of financial management, including food and labor cost controls
- Guest-centric mindset with a passion for hospitality and cultural storytelling
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
