A respected construction services provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a major data center build in Cedar Rapids, IA. Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in electrical commercial construction (residential experience does not apply).
- Recent experience leading data center construction projects of $5M+ in scope.
- Must be available to work on-site in Cedar Rapids, IA (no remote or office placement).
Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related business discipline focused on construction.
- Existing relationships with superintendents, foremen, or trusted subcontractors you can bring to the project.
Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the data center construction project on-site, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors and major trades.
- Foster a safety-first, quality-driven environment in the field.
- Manage site documentation, regular progress reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
- Build and lead a high-performing, reliable on-site team to ensure project success.
