HR Generalist Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate orientation and onboarding for new employees
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Assist with employee relations issues and conflict resolution
- Manage filing, archiving, and documentation systems
- Support job descriptions, compensation updates, evaluations, promotions, and status changes
- Provide administrative support to Directors and the Administrative Team
HR Generalist Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in an HR role (Generalist or similar)
- Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and HR software systems
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and highly detail-oriented
- Experience with unemployment claims, compliance, employee recruitment and onboarding, employee health insurance, and records management
- Team-oriented mindset
