Settlement Administrator -Law Firm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

§ Prepare and maintain accurate settlement disbursement statements.

§ Audit and reconcile case expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.

§ Request, track, and organize updated statements for client files.

§ Communicate with clients daily to provide updates and address inquiries.

§ Monitor and update Settlement team regarding documents sent, received, or outstanding.

§ Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned

§ Perform general administrative duties, including document management and data entry.

REQUIREMENTS:

§ Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle sensitive client matters.

§ Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

§ Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

§ Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues proactively.

§ Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

§ Experience with QuickBooks preferred.

§ Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

§ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

§ 5-7 years of experience in a plaintiff injury firm with a focus on settlements.
