Housekeeper Requirements & Qualifications
- Prior experience in luxury hotel, private estate, or high-net-worth household settings strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain ultra-luxury cleaning and presentation standards
- High level of discretion, professionalism, and respect for privacy
- Flexibility for scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and special events
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks
Housekeeper Preferred Background & Skills
- Knowledge of proper care for luxury surfaces, materials, and fine fabrics
- Time management skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and polished, professional demeanor
Housekeeper Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform daily and deep cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and specialty rooms
- Handle laundry care, including washing, steaming, ironing, folding, and organizing delicate fabrics
- Maintain immaculate room presentation and make beds to five-star hospitality standards
- Stock household supplies and report inventory or maintenance needs
- Care for marble, hardwoods, antiques, and custom furnishings using proper methods
- Collaborate with estate management and other household staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
