We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow revenue and expand market presence within the landscaping, construction, and outdoor services industry. This role is ideal for a hunter-minded self-starter who actively prospects, opens new accounts, and builds long-term partnerships with landscapers, contractors, municipalities, golf courses, HOAs, and commercial clients. Success in this role comes from consistent outbound activity, strong relationship-building, and the ability to close and grow business in a competitive market.

- Base Salary: $65,000 – $85,000

Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience prospecting, developing, and closing new business in an outside sales or business development role
- Demonstrated success selling to landscaping, construction, municipal, or outdoor services clients
- Comfortable working in a blue-collar / landscape / construction culture, including job sites and early mornings
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with owners, decision-makers, and field personnel
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle independently — from cold outreach to close and ongoing account growth
- High level of self-motivation, accountability, and drive
- CRM experience is required. Preferably NetSuite,
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
Preferred Background & Skills
- Experience selling landscape products, aggregates, soil, compost, mulch, or construction materials
- Existing relationships within the landscaping, construction, or municipal markets
- Strong understanding of how landscape contractors operate day-to-day
- Disciplined approach to pipeline management and follow-up
- Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight
- Results-driven mindset with a strong work ethic
- CRM experience preferred
