Join one of Tampa’s most iconic restaurant groups. We're hiring a Sous Chef for our café and event-driven location near the city’s sports and entertainment district. This role blends the pace of daily café service with the excitement of high-volume rushes for games, concerts, and catered events.
You’ll take ownership of BOH operations on your shifts — managing labor, quality, and kitchen flow, whether it’s a quiet afternoon or a sold-out arena event.

- Base Salary: $60K–$65K
- Bonus Potential: Up to $8,000 per year

Your Role
- Lead back-of-house operations and prep during café service and event surges
- Adjust labor and prep schedules based on forecasted volume
- Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and kitchen readiness
- Assign stations, lead expo, and coach BOH staff
- Support the Executive Chef with ordering, inventory, and shift flow
- Uphold kitchen standards and motivate your team
Your Background
- 2+ years as a Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or BOH Supervisor in high-volume kitchens
- Hotel outlet, catering, or event-based experience preferred
- Comfortable managing both slow periods and busy rushes
- ServSafe certified or willing to obtain
- Professional presence with a team-first mindset
