Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant manufacturing maintenance position.
- High School or Trade School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate or license for trade activities such as HVAC, refrigeration, electric, or welding preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical maintenance.
- Able to work 3rd Shift 10pm-6am and 6 Day work week
Maintenance Mechanic Preferred Background & Skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Familiarity with PLC systems.
- Previous experience using maintenance management software.
- Fabrication experience is a must.
Maintenance Mechanic Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production, cooling, freezing, and packaging equipment, including mixers, conveyors, and metal detectors.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment according to schedule.
- Conduct general maintenance duties related to plant equipment and building systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to promote productivity and address issues.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Train other employees as needed and complete assigned housekeeping duties.
