Executive Chef – Middleburg, VA

A respected boutique hospitality group is searching for an Executive Chef to lead a quality driven, seasonally inspired kitchen. This is a hands on leadership role for a chef who values refined cooking, organization, mentorship, and consistently high standards.

Executive Chef Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary 70k to 80k

• Attainable bonus

• Relocation assistance available

• PTO and benefits included

Executive Chef Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven success as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a chef driven, quality focused environment

• Strong culinary foundation with a passion for seasonal and farm influenced cuisine

• Hands on leadership style with the ability to mentor and communicate clearly

• Highly organized with strong follow through and attention to detail

• Comfortable updating menus multiple times a year in collaboration with ownership

• Culinary degree preferred or equivalent professional experience

Executive Chef Must Haves

• Ability to lead a small, committed team with a positive and professional culture

• Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive feedback effectively

• Experience with ordering, inventory, product quality, and cost controls

• Calm presence under pressure with a guest focused mindset

• Solid career tenure of two or more years per position

Executive Chef Preferred Background and Skills

• Experience in farm to table, boutique hotel, or seasonal tasting menu environments

• Background with wine dinners or small event menus

• Ability to create or strengthen systems that support consistency and excellence
