Join our team as the Director of Quality and take ownership of the entire quality function across a fast growing aerospace manufacturing group. This is a top priority leadership hire that will shape our quality vision, guide company wide standards, and drive operational excellence across multiple sites including Elk Grove Village Wheeling and Phoenix.
This role is ideal for a proven quality leader with strong aerospace or advanced manufacturing experience who wants to step into a private equity backed environment with real influence and long term upside.
Director of Quality | What You Will Do
- Lead the full quality function across several manufacturing locations
- Oversee AS9100 ISO 9001 FAA and EASA compliance and all audit activity
- Strengthen and manage the Quality Management System across the organization
- Drive improvements in yield supplier quality and customer satisfaction
- Guide and mentor quality teams with a mix of solid and dotted line structure
Director of Quality | What You Bring
- Ten to fifteen years of manufacturing experience with aerospace strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 ISO 9001 and federal regulatory requirements
- Background in engineering such as mechanical aerospace manufacturing or similar
- Proven success leading teams systems audits and high standards of quality
- Career stage of roughly fifteen to twenty five years post graduation
