A mid-level litigation associate is sought to join a dynamic Los Angeles-based team handling a wide range of matters, including general liability, product liability, premises liability, and catastrophic injury cases. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a leading aviation-focused group on complex, high-value litigation.
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Manage an active caseload of approximately 10–20 matters.
- Investigate claims, develop case strategies, and provide client updates.
- Draft and respond to discovery, review and analyze documents for production.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Attend hearings and argue motions.
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
Associate Attorney Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active membership in the California Bar.
- 3–5 years of hands-on litigation experience, including depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated professionalism and ability to work collaboratively.
