This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to make an impact by providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to a collaborative group of attorneys within the firm’s Commercial Transportation Litigation Defense team.
You’ll manage complex case files, assist in drafting and filing key legal documents, and play a critical role in keeping cases on track from start to finish, all within a professional, growth-oriented environment.

Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Provide litigation and administrative support to attorneys in the Commercial Transportation Litigation Defense team
- Manage multiple active cases in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, including scheduling, filings, and deadlines
- Collaborate closely with attorneys and paralegals on trial preparation and case management
- Communicate directly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel, maintaining professionalism and accuracy
- 5+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary or Litigation Assistant in a private law firm
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures; transportation defense experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and legal software
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Professional, detail-oriented, and proactive with excellent communication skills
