Sous Chef – Upscale Hotel | Capitol Hill, Washington, DC
Join the culinary leadership team at one of Capitol Hill’s premier hotels, known for its elevated dining experience and exceptional guest service. We’re seeking a talented Sous Chef to help lead a dynamic kitchen operation and deliver consistently high-quality cuisine.
About the Role:
The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu execution, team leadership, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This position requires strong organizational skills, a hands-on leadership style, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, refined hotel environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Lead Cook in an upscale hotel or restaurant setting
- Background in banquet and large-event production a plus
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and cost control
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach
- Passion for seasonal, locally inspired cuisine
