Civil Project Manager (PE or PE-Track) – Land Development / Site Design
Location: Central Virginia (Full Relocation Provided)
Compensation: Base up to $150,000 + OTE up to $180,000
Experience Required: Minimum 8 years of Civil Engineering experience in the United States
Overview
A leading civil engineering and land development firm in Central Virginia is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead regional land development and site design projects. This is a full relocation opportunity and an excellent career move for candidates currently based in New Jersey or the Northeast looking for leadership growth, stability, and improved work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage land development and civil/site design projects from planning through construction
- Mentor and support junior engineers and designers
- Prepare, review, and certify/stamp engineering plans, reports, and technical documents
- Oversee grading, stormwater management, utilities, roadway design, and permitting
- Serve as the primary client contact for communication and project delivery
- Manage project proposals, budgets, schedules, and scopes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Minimum 8 years of U.S.-based civil/site or land development experience
- PE license (any state) or EIT on a PE track
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to $150,000 + OTE up to $180,000
