We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accommodation Procurement Specialist to oversee hotel sourcing, negotiations, and bookings for clients attending major sports events throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for someone with strong hospitality and vendor management experience who can secure top-quality accommodations while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
Accommodation Procurement Specialist Responsibilities:
- Research, source, and secure hotel accommodations for small and large groups in Los Angeles and nearby markets.
- Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts with hotel partners to ensure cost-effective and flexible arrangements.
- Build and maintain relationships with hotels, vendors, and local partners to enhance sourcing options.
- Coordinate with internal event planners, client services, and operations teams to align accommodation logistics with event schedules.
- Handle booking changes, special requests, and issue resolution promptly and professionally.
- Handle RFPs and RFQs
Accommodation Procurement Specialist Requirements:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) – required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel procurement, travel coordination, or event logistics.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with proven success in securing group accommodations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Well-versed in the RFP/RFQ process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or booking systems (Cvent, Amadeus, Sabre, etc.).
